When you defend a comic’s “right” to make rape jokes, here’s what you are defending:
1. The likelihood that a rape survivor in the audience will be triggered. 1 in 6 women and 1 in 10 men have been raped, so it’s likely that any rape joke told in a comedy club is going to be extremely hurtful to at least one person present and perhaps even cause a PTSD reaction.
2. Studies show that rapists actually believe that most people rape, even if they haven’t been found out or convicted. So every time a rape joke is told in the presence of a rapist, the joke empowers and normalizes that rapist’s beliefs about what they have done or plan to do.

I’m going to block you if you continue to ask me things about this, because as I said before, I don’t need to waste my time educating people who take the stance of supporting enforcers of rape culture. Read the articles I linked you to, and think about what you’re actually arguing for: the “right” to cause emotional harm and to empower rapists, all for the sake of a quick laugh.
