On one of the sex forums I read, someone suggested that the effect of a man drooling over a woman’s naked body is equivalent to the way women swoon over a man in a suit – i.e. if a man wants to drive a woman crazy (in a good way), he shouldn’t get naked but should instead get all dressed up.
I don’t know how I feel about this. On the one hand, I think it smacks of the kind of sexism that says, “Women don’t want/enjoy sex as much as men do,” which is bullshit. But on the other hand, studies seem to indicate that women are less visual than men when it comes to sex – and indeed, I hardly know any women who have ever expressed to me that they’ve looked at a man’s naked body and been turned on by it.
On the flipside, I know plenty of women (myself included) who think a man looks foxiest when he’s made an effort with his appearance – whether that means he’s clean-shaven in a collared shirt, or full-on decked out in a suit.
Not that I can’t appreciate a naked male body… but that’s something I want to see after attraction and desire have already been established. Which can be done by, among many other things, seeing the dude in a suit.
I don’t know. What do you think about this?
