how do you figure out your real bra size?
To summarize:
1. Using a tape measure, measure snugly under your boobs (where the bottom band of a bra would sit) all the way around, in inches, with the tape measure parallel to the floor. If it’s an odd number, round up to the next even number. Write down that number, it’s your band number.
2. Measure around your chest at the widest point of your breasts (across the nipples), again with the tape measure parallel to the floor. This measurement should be just loose enough to be comfortable. Don’t round this number. Write it down, it’s your cup number.
3. Subtract your band number from your cup number. If you’re left with 1, you’re an A cup. If you’re left with 2, you’re a B cup. And so on. Your band number is the number that goes in front of your cup size.
So, for example, my band number is 32 and my cup number is 36. 36 minus 32 is 4, so I’m a 32D.
