the thing is: it’s important to realize that no one is a perfect feminist because we all have compromises we need to make. beyond that, also, no one can expected to be a martyr. have fun. listen to a pop song. find strength in it. life is hard enough already.

this however, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t aspire to being a better person. we all should. this also means we need to give up on the fantasy that our actions are inherently feminist and think about how our attempts to justify everything as such is not helping
