I asked my parents for an American Apparel gift card for my birthday, because I hate almost every bra I own and I needed to get some new ones (wire-free, comfortable, and unobtrusive). They got me a bigger gift card than I had anticipated, AND American Apparel sent me a 30% discount code because it’s my birthday (!!), so I managed to get all of the following things in the order I placed tonight:
1 nude Interlock bra
1 pale pink Interlock bra
1 nude cotton spandex cross-back bra
1 black ribbed racerback dress (I already have this dress in red, pink, and green, and I love it!)
1 black jersey T dress (ditto: I already have this in turquoise and love it)
1 turquoise LGBT pride shirt (ditto: have this in asphalt, love it)
1 royal blue hoodie (have wanted this FOREVER!)
1 rainbow terry headband
1 hot pink hair scrunchie
1 black Interlock pencil skirt
1 pair of black cycle shorts (for wearing under dresses, etc.)
1 two-tone pink dress

I used to have ethical qualms about American Apparel that caused me to boycott it, but I just love their clothes so much (not to mention their labour policies) that I wasn’t able to keep up the boycott. Their clothes are really excellent quality and are a core part of my wardrobe now.
