This post is problematic, don’t bisexual people count? 

Here’s a short list in no particular order of actors who openly admitted multi-sexual attraction, regardless of the terms they used to describe their sexuality

• Marlene Dietrich - Nominated 1931
• Marlon Brando - Won 1955/1973 (8 nominations)
• Anna Paquin - Won 1994
• Angelina Jolie - Won 2000/2014 (3 nominations)
• Jodie Foster - Won 1989/1992 (4 nominations) [ed note: lesbian don’t count as queer either?]
• Ian McKellen - Nominated as a gay man in a gay role 1999, also 2002 (I’m assuming this is the one you were referencing)

Please don’t erase bisexual people when you talk about “queer actors”

The more I see this post, the deeper it cuts. So I took a few moments to google “Openly Bisexual Academy Award Winners” and there are LOTS, these are just a few of the biggest names among the actor category. When talking about queer issues, I often see ‘queer’ defined by the LG, Please don’t forget about the B, And don’t erase the T entirely
