A new lip purchase of mine: Revlon Just Bitten lip stain + balm in “Crave,” a dark hot pink shade.
It is almost laughable how patchy and gross this makes my lips look. Granted, my lips are not in tip-top shape right now (winter dryness and nervous lip-biting), but even with a pre-application scrubdown, this is what it looks like. It appears that I’ve just been feasting on something bloody, which I guess goes along with the whole vampire theme they’re aiming for with the product name.
The stain comes in a marker-like applicator. It goes on liquidy but dries pretty matte. The first coat is somewhat sheer, but the color is buildable. As you might expect for a product that comes prepackaged with a balm, it’s drying. The balm is really nice, though.
Haven’t had a chance to check for staying power yet. Maybe I’ll wear this to my fancy pizza dinner date with my man tonight and see how it holds up.
