has anyone ever recognized you in the street? would you be freaked out if someone came up to you and introduced themselves as a fan?

I’ve only ever been recognized at concerts – which makes sense, given that I tend to go to the concerts of artists whose songs I’ve covered on YouTube. I was recognized once at a Regina Spektor show and several times at a Tegan and Sara show.

And no, it doesn’t freak me out. It’s nice.
