Apparently this is called “Left Hand Song,” but when I used to be a Regina Spektor bootleg junkie back in the day, we always called it “A Lesson in How Fleeting Preservation Is.” It’s a very lovely song with strange lyrics, as is typical for Regina.
I don’t listen to her much anymore, but homegirl totally revolutionized my personal relationship with music back in 2005-2006 so I’ll always love her.
