Here’s my prescription for you:
1. Get your sleeping schedule back on track. Use melatonin if you have to. Tea and baths also work a treat for inducing sleepiness.
2. Make it your goal to eat at least one healthy meal every day – a meal containing veggies, vitamins, and fiber!
3. Find a way to be on the computer less often. Buy a good book or make plans with friends or something.
4. When you are on the computer, read inspiring blogs. I like Gala Darling (especially her older posts from around 2007-2008), Zen Habits, A Beautiful Mess, To Be a Slut, and Ega Jones.
5. Start a new creative project that you know you’ll enjoy: a painting, a poetry zine, an album of songs, whatever floats your boat. See it through.
6. Start every morning by making a gratitude list with paper and pen. Don’t ever skip it.
7. Whenever you’re feeling really overwhelmed and exhausted and feel like you don’t have the energy to get out of a rut, reboot your mood by either taking a nap or watching something really really funny on TV.
