Maybe try watching an inspirational documentary if you have the means to do so. I find that they are a good transition from a lazy mood to a more productive one. Some of my faves are “Happiness,” “The Secret,” and “Craigslist Joe.”
I also think there’s truth in the idea that writer’s block is often best cured by just writing. Write whatever you’re thinking, even if it’s terrible. Go for pages and pages. Something will come of it eventually.
Additionally I find that caffeine is a fantastic motivator, but I guess it’s a little late at night for that now! (Well, it depends on what you have planned for tomorrow, I suppose…)
