While I respect all of your opinions & beliefs here’s a few things that I’d like to say.

First, if my sons genitalia is none of my business, why is it any of yours?

Second,I understand that you want to educate people on why it is better to leave a baby in tact.  But, if you’re going to try to educate people, do it in a nice way.  Yelling at & swearing at mothers who are considering circumcising their sons or who have circumcised their sons is not the way to go about it.  Telling mothers that they are “child abusers” or “stupid” is not helping your cause any either.

And lastly, circumcision is a procedure that is offered.  As long as it is offered, people will still choose to get it done.  Stop taking all your anger and aggression out on parents & start taking it to people with higher power who can make the procedure illegal.

First: It’s not that we care about your sons genitals, if you really believe that you have completely missed the entire point of intactivism. We care about the well being of children, we care about bodily autonomy - not what an infant boys penis looks like. Actually, it’s often pro-circ’s that care about what a babies penis looks like, claiming that circumcision is superior because cut penises ‘look better’, or they want their soon to ‘look like their father’.

Second: I understand screaming at them isn’t likely to get the desired results, but your tone policing is unsavory as well. Chances are, if someone isn’t going to listen to your valid points because you’re ‘not nice’, they weren’t going to listen to your valid points no matter what. Also, sorry not sorry we see cutting off a healthy part of a non-consenting childs genitalia in a dangerous and detrimental procedure as abusive.

Third: We understand that, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t work to keep that number as low as possible (like it is in every other industrialized country) by talking to parents and others, as well as working towards making sure the procedure is no longer offered.
