how do you make money?

• I’m lucky enough that my parents cover the cost of my tuition and my monthly MetroPass, so I don’t have to worry about those expenses for the time being.
• I recommend sex toys on blogs and forums, using affiliate links. I’m paid commission on every sale I make. Lately I’ve been making around $250 per month this way, and it seems to increase a little bit every month (I’m already at $384 for October!).
• I write articles for a popular sex toy website in exchange for $140 in store credit every month, so I rarely have to put money into my ridiculous sex toy purchasing habit.
• I have a new-ish regular babysitting gig which looks like it’s probably going to be about 5 hours a week or so. I won’t make a ton of money this way, but it’ll be good for covering everyday expenses, like coffee, lunch, and books.
• Sometimes people buy my music, and because Bandcamp is great, most of that money goes straight to me.
