It’s not bad, it’s just one way of being in a relationship. The only way it’s bad is if you’re with someone whose dating style is drastically different from yours.
I’m generally pretty “intense,” in the way that you’re describing, and Damian actually said “I love you” before I did. That’s one of the ways I knew we were a good match: we’re both kind of “clingy,” but it’s not a bad thing in this case because it’s how we both are and it’s what we both need.
