One thing that helped me was a suggestion from Gala Darling where she said to take a self-portrait every day for a month. Sounds counterintuitive, maybe, but it worked for me. It gave me a reason to get dolled up on a daily basis, and it also gave me a more objective perspective on my own beauty. ;D
Some people feel more beautiful and self-loving when they’re eating really well and exercising a lot. For others, that sounds like hell. Your mileage may vary.
I would also encourage you to do a daily gratitude list (always!), especially one that focuses on things you love about yourself. It’s surprising how transformative this can be.
If you need an external push, ask your closest friends and family to send you an e-mail outlining their top 3 favorite things about you. Read, cherish, remember.
