I’m reading Reddit’s “Seduction” community, which is all a bunch of pick-up artists (who I regard to be mostly slimebags) discussing techniques for getting women into bed with them.
There’s this whole thread about “shit tests” (things women say or do to test to see how a guy will respond, e.g. “I’m mad at you!” or “Are you a player?”) and this is my favorite part:
Woman: “I have a boyfriend.”
Man: “Oh, that’s perfect—he can bake us cookies while we go out on adventures.”
hahahahaha!
When I was single, I’d sometimes tell random dudes that I had a boyfriend (or a girlfriend) if they were hitting on me, just to get them to go away. It would have made me laugh if they’d responded in this way, though. (Still wouldn’t have gotten me into bed with them, however…)
